KARACHI, Oct 03 (APP):Two ships, Ultra Endurance and Meghna Sun scheduled to load/offload Cement and Coal, berthed at Multi- Purpose Terminal and Port Qasim Electric Power Terminal respectively on Thursday, Meanwhile another bulk cargo carrier ‘Daira’ carrying Coal also arrived at outer anchorage on same period as above mentioned.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out
of them two ships, Nepta and Wenche Victory left the port on Friday morning,while another bulk cargo carrier ‘Ultra Relience’ expected to sail on Friday.
Cargo volume of 128,704 tonnes, comprising 73,209 tonnes imports cargo
and 55,495 export cargo carried in 2,363 Containers (0 TEUs Imports & 139
TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 06 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk
cargo carrier ‘Daira’ & another ships, Belita carrying Coal and Container are
expected to take berths at PIBT and QICT on Friday.
