KARACHI, Sep 04 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where six ships, Hansa Africa, Yuan Xian Fa Zhan, CMA CGM Phoenix, PHC Glory, Ionic Kibou and Al-Diab-II scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Soya Bean Seed and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Grain Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Wednesday.
Meanwhile four more ships, Flora Maris, Etagas, Sarwatgas and Ullswater with Gas oil, Chemicals and LPG are also arrived at outer anchorage on during last 24 hours.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them five ships, Al-Slami, IDI, Nakhal Silver, Yuan Xiang Fa Zhan and CMA CGM Phoenix are left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Hansa Africa, Princess Wafya and Al-Diab-II are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 200,924 tonnes, comprising 147,755 tonnes imports cargo and 53,169 export cargo carried in 7,779 Containers (4,720 TEUs Imports & 3,059 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 06 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Flora Maris and Sarwat Gas carrying Gas oil and LPG are expected to take berths at FOTCO and SSGC respectively on today.
