KARACHI, Nov 08 (APP):Seven ships, Jaru Bhum, Atlantic Ibis, Team Bravo, Eva Pearl, Khairpur, Dravin and Malamir scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice, Chemicals, Mogas, LPG and Coal,berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, FOTCO Oil Terminal, Sui Southern Gas Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile another ship ‘East Wind-1’ carrying Soya Been Seed also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
Eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Jaru Bhum, Atlantic Ibis and PH Giang Minh are left the port on today morning, while two more ships, EVA Pearl and AU Taurus are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 90,320 tonnes, comprising 62,792 tonnes imports cargo and 27,528 tonnes export cargo carried in 1,902 Containers (754 TEUs Imports& 1,148 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Twelve Ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Tamreys, East Wind-1, Southern Unicorn and Bow En-devour scheduled to load/offload Rice, Soya Been Seed, Palm oil and Chemicals are expected to take berths at FAP, LCT and EVTL respectively on today Friday.
Meanwhile two more ships, MSC Positano and Zhong-Gu-Bo-hai are due to arrive at outer anchorage on Saturday.
