KARACHI, Jul 26 (APP):Six Ships, Maersk Cairo, ONE Modern, MSC Positano, Seaspan Ganges, Silver Valerie and Bolan carrying Container, Palm oil and Mogas, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminals and FOTCO oil Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile another ship ‘Sea Luck-III’ scheduled to load/offload Condensed is also arrived at outer-anchorage of the Port Qasim on same day.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Maersk Cairo, ONE Modern and Fisher left the port on today morning while two more ships, Seaspan Ganges and Bolan are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 152,463 tonnes, comprising 95,995 tonnes imports cargo and 56,468 tonnes export cargo carried in 5,541 Containers (3,130 TEUs Imports & 2,411 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 05 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them a ‘Sky Dweller’ & another ship ‘Southern Anoa’ carrying Mogas and Chemicals are expected to take berths at FOTCO and EVTL respectively on Friday, Meanwhile two more container ships, Lotus-A and Appollon-D are due to arrive at port on Saturday.
