ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Wednesday visited the Huawei booth at GITEX Global 2025—one of the world’s largest and most influential technology exhibitions—and reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Pakistan and Huawei in advancing digital transformation.

GITEX Global 2025 runs from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, hosting over 6,800 exhibitors, 2,000 startups, and more than 180,000 attendees from 180 countries.

Huawei’s booth, themed “All Intelligence,” showcased its latest innovations in AI-powered infrastructure, cloud platforms, smart city technologies, and cybersecurity solutions tailored for public sector modernization. The Minister was welcomed by senior Huawei executives and given a comprehensive tour of the booth, said a news release received here from Dubai.

During the visit, Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja praised Huawei’s contributions to Pakistan’s ICT ecosystem, stating: “Huawei has played a pivotal role in expanding Pakistan’s digital infrastructure and empowering our youth through technology. We value this partnership and look forward to deeper collaboration in AI, cloud, and smart governance to realize our vision of a truly inclusive Digital Pakistan.”
