ISLAMABAD, Dec 9 (APP): Shaheryar Memon, Focal Person for Overseas Affairs and Business and Trade Linkages, has represented Pakistan at the Opening Session of the Islamic African Arab Dialogue on Democracy, Peace and Security in Marrakech, Morocco.
The opening session of the ‘Islamic African Arab Dialogue on Democracy, Peace and Security’ starts on a platform dedicated to strengthening youth-led diplomacy, global cooperation, and shared progress, said a release issued here on Tuesday.
Memon has contributed to discussions in session, shaping stronger democracies, inclusive governance, and secure futures through empowered young leadership.
He also engaged in a Dialogue Session focusing on “Youth Participation in Decision Making” and took part in ‘Dialogue Session on the vital role of youth in preventing extremism and fostering cultures of peace.
Meanwhile, participating in a dialogue session on strengthening youth partnerships and alliances for sustainable peace, Shaheryar Memon said that Pakistan has huge potential for e-commerce through the huge youth bulge.
He said that Pakistan can exploit the power of youth and connect to the global supply chain and international potential markets.
He said that “We are working towards long-term international cooperation that empowers young leaders and builds bridges across regions.”
The government is committed to amplifying Pakistan’s voice in global efforts to build resilient, peaceful, and united societies.
He said that currently, Pakistan’s economy is showing positive growth and economic stability, which is a hallmark of the government to achieve the agenda of sustainable economic development in the country.
Pakistan and Morocco have a decade-long history of economic and trade ties, and both countries have huge potential to increase the bilateral trade and tourism potential.
