ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (APP):The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in collaboration with the Capital Market Infrastructure Institutions (CMIIs), will host the first-ever International Capital Market Conference & Expo 2025 on Tuesday, November 11.
This landmark initiative will bring together regional and global stakeholders to foster cooperation, innovation, and growth within the capital markets.
The event, the first of its kind in Pakistan, will convene capital market regulators, policymakers, and market infrastructure institutions from notable jurisdictions—including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, and the USA—alongside multilateral institutions and key stakeholders from Pakistan’s financial ecosystem.
Over the past year, the SECP, in collaboration with the Pakistan Stock Exchange, National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited, Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, and Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, has undertaken a series of strategic engagements with counterpart regulators and market institutions across Asia.
This conference represents the culmination of that sustained regulatory diplomacy, providing a unique platform for dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning to advance the region’s capital markets.
The conference underscores Pakistan’s commitment to regional financial integration and highlights the SECP’s leadership in fostering a collaborative and resilient market landscape. Conceived as a strategic platform to enhance cooperation and accelerate investment, the event will facilitate the exchange of regulatory insights, best practices, and lessons on developing robust, transparent, and inclusive capital markets.
Running alongside the conference, an Expo will feature leading market participants, including asset management companies, brokerage houses, insurance providers, technology companies, and banks.
The Expo aims to enhance awareness of the diverse range of financial products available in Pakistan and promote investor education. It will serve as a dynamic platform for institutions to showcase their products and services, highlighting the breadth and depth of offerings within Pakistan’s rapidly growing financial ecosystem.
By directly engaging regional regulators and capital market institutions, the conference aims to pave the way for foreign investment, bilateral cooperation, and knowledge-sharing partnerships that will strengthen Pakistan’s capital market ecosystem.
The International Capital Market Conference & Expo 2025 represents a transformative step toward stronger, more integrated capital markets, reaffirming Pakistan’s national commitment to regulatory reforms, financial stability, and international collaboration.
