SIALKOT, Feb 06 (APP): The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will organise a B2C e-Commerce exports seminar on February 9, 2026, at 11am at Sheikh Muhammad Shafi Hall, SCCI, to guide exporters on export payment realisation through e-commerce channels.
According to a spokesperson, SCCI President Syed Ahtesham Mazhar will attend the seminar along with key speakers including Waqas Bashir (Unit Head CFTU), Waqas Kashif Bajwa (Chief Manager State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)), and Akmal Javed (Chairman Committee on Banking Affairs).
The seminar is aimed at facilitating exporters, particularly those shipping goods through courier companies such as DHL and receiving individual payments. Participants will be guided on how to properly use this mechanism to declare and realise foreign remittances as export proceeds in line with applicable regulations.
Officials from the Foreign Exchange Operations Team of SBP Banking Services Corporation Sialkot and representatives of commercial banks will also be present to provide practical guidance and answer queries. The session will offer exporters a direct opportunity to understand banking procedures related to B2C e-commerce exports and compliance requirements.
The SCCI officials said the initiative will help strengthen exporters’ capacity to manage e-commerce transactions efficiently and ensure proper documentation and realisation of export proceeds.
