SIALKOT, Aug 14 (APP): The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with a dignified flag-hoisting and cake-cutting ceremony at its premises on Friday.
The ceremony was attended by President SCCI Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, Senior Vice President (SVP) SCCI Muhammad Murad Arshad, Vice President (VP) SCCI Salman Sheikh, President Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS) Dr. Mariam Siddiqa and members of the Executive Committee and SCCI employees.
The participants hoisted the national flag and cut a cake to mark the 79th year of Independence. The ceremony reflected the business community’s spirit of patriotism and commitment to the country.
Speaking on the occasion, the SCCI leadership highlighted the importance of Independence Day and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the nation’s forefathers for the creation of Pakistan.
The participants expressed their resolve to contribute to the country’s economic development and prosperity and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability and progress.
