ISLAMABAD, Jul 30 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan on Wednesday held a meeting Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC) Javed Qureshi.
During the meeting, both sides held a comprehensive discussion on key proposals and important aspects of Pakistan’s upcoming industrial policy, said a news release.
Haroon Akhtar emphasized the urgent need for a modern industrial policy to drive economic growth, said adding, “Industrial development is the need of the hour, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif envisions an industrial revolution in Pakistan.”
“Pakistan requires an industrial policy that strengthens the national economy, creates employment opportunities, and attracts investment,” he remarked.
Javed Qureshi appreciated the efforts of SAPM Haroon in shaping a forward-looking industrial policy. He assured full support from the Pakistan Business Council in the approval and implementation of the policy.
The meeting marked a significant step toward collaborative policy formulation aimed at revitalizing Pakistan’s industrial sector.
