ISLAMABAD, Jul 14 (APP):The Rupee on Monday depreciated by 26 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 284.71 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 284.45.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs287.25 and Rs287.65, respectively.
The price of the Euro increased by 35 paisa to close at Rs 332.74 against the last day’s closing of Rs 332.39, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen remained unchanged and closed Rs 1.93, whereas a decrease of 96 paisa was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 384.01 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 384.97.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 07 paisa each to close at Rs 77.51 and Rs 75.91 respectively.
