ISLAMABAD, Jun 16 (APP):The Rupee on Monday depreciated by 21 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 283.17 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 282.96.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 282.5 and Rs 285.15 respectively.
The price of the Euro increased by Rs1.46 to close at Rs 327.85 against the last day’s closing of Rs 326.39, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs1.96, whereas an increase of Rs 0.92 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 384.60 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 383.68.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 07 and 82 paisa to close at Rs 77.11 and Rs 75.45, respectively.
