ISLAMABAD, Jul 4 (APP): The Rupee on Friday depreciated by 10 paisa against the US Dollar in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 283.96 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 283.86.
However, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market stood at Rs 285.60 and Rs 286.50 respectively.
The price of the Euro increased by 23 paisa to close at Rs 335.38 against the last day’s closing of Rs 335.15, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese yen depreciated by 01paisa and was traded at Rs1.96 against Rs.1.97, whereas a decrease of Rs07 was witnessed in the exchange rate of the British Pound, which was traded at Rs 388.01 as compared to the last day’s closing of Rs 388.08.
The exchange rates of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 03 paisa and 02 paisa to close at Rs 77.31 and Rs 75.71 respectively.
