ISLAMABAD, Feb 24 (APP): The Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.52 compared to the previous day’s closing at Rs279.55.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs280.25 and Rs282.2, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the Rupee decreased by Rs1.25 to close at Rs329.19 from the previous day’s close of Rs330.44, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen came down by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 1.79, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs1.34 and closed at Rs376.58 compared to the previous day’s Rs377.92.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham remained stagnant at Rs 76.10 while the Saudi Riyal came down by 02 paisa and closed Rs74.50.
