Rupee gains 01 paisa against US Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Jun 8 (APP): The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs278.40 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs278.41.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs278.20 and Rs279.45, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs3.33 and closed at Rs320.67 from the previous day’s close of Rs324.00, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen came down by 01 paisa to close at Rs1.73, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs3.30 and closed at Rs371.09 compared to the previous day’s Rs374.39.
The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal decreased by 01 paisa and 04 paisa to close at Rs75.79 and Rs74.11, respectively.
