The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.41 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.42.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 05 (APP): The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.41 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.42.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278.25 and Rs 279.50, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.87 and closed at Rs 324.00 from the previous day’s close of Rs 323.13, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.74, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.60 and closed at Rs 374.39 compared to the previous day’s Rs 373.79.

The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham and the Saudi Riyal remained stagnant at Rs75.80 and 74.15, respectively.
