Rupee gains 01 paisa against US Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (APP):The Rupee on Tuesay appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.90 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.91.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.05 and Rs 280.00, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee inreased by 08 paisa to close at Rs 328.07 from the previous day’s close of Rs 327.99, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs 1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of 12 paisa and closed at Rs 376.39 compared to the previous day’s Rs 376.51.
The exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham the Saudi Riyal remained stagnant to close at Rs 75.93 and Rs 74.35, respectively.
