Rupee gains 01 paisa against US Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Mar 13 (APP):The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 279.31 compared to the previous day’s closing at Rs 279.32.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.05 and Rs 280.40, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the Rupee decreased by Rs 2.22 to close at Rs 320.46 from the previous day’s close of Rs 322.68, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained stagnant and closed at Rs 1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decline of Rs 3.08 and closed at Rs 371.33 compared to the previous day’s Rs 374.11.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham lost 02 paisa to close at Rs 76.03 and the Saudi Riyal remained unchanged and closed at Rs74.43.
