ISLAMABAD, Feb 09 (APP): The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.70 compared to the previous day’s closing at Rs279.71.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs280.55 and Rs282.25, respectively.
The price of the Euro increased by Rs1.99 to close at Rs331.75 from the previous day’s close of Rs329.76, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged and closed at Rs1.78, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.13 and closed at Rs380.68 compared to the previous day’s Rs379.55.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal came down by 02 and 01 paisa to close at Rs76.14 and Rs74.57, respectively.
