Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.05, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.06.
Rupee gains 01 paisa against Dollar
ISLAMABAD, Oct 6 (APP): Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.05, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.06.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar’s open-market buying and selling rates were Rs 277.5 and Rs 278.1, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs 0.71, closing at Rs 311.42 against the previous day’s rate of Rs 310.71, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged at Rs 1.75, and the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs 0.21 and closed at Rs 366.77 compared to the previous day’s Rs 366.56.
The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham stood stagnant to close at Rs 75.43, while the Saudi Riyal went up by 01 paisa and closed at Rs 73.80.
