The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) turned bullish on Friday, gaining 266.28 points, a positive change of 0.16 percent, to close at 170,765.22 points against 170,498.95 points recorded in the previous trading session.
PSX turns bullish, gains over 266 points

ISLAMABAD, Sep 25 (APP): The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) turned bullish on Friday, gaining 266.28 points, a positive change of 0.16 percent, to close at 170,765.22 points against 170,498.95 points recorded in the previous trading session.
The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 482.759 million shares, compared to 759.974 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs19.284 billion from Rs27.540 billion.
Market capitalisation increased to Rs18.996 trillion from Rs18.971 trillion recorded a day earlier.
Out of 493 companies that traded in the ready market, 219 posted gains, 217 suffered losses, while 57 remained unchanged.
Cnergyico PK led the volume chart with 108.192 million shares, followed by WorldCall Telecom with 28.943 million shares and Pak Refinery with 27.559 million shares.
Among the top gainers, Sapphire Textile Mills Limited surged by Rs143.12 to close at Rs1,618.12, while Unilever Pakistan
Foods Limited advanced by Rs121.99 to settle at Rs24,982.00.
On the losing side, Rafhan Maize Products Company Limited declined by Rs157.14 to close at Rs8,842.86, while PIA Holding Company LimitedB fell by Rs70.05 to Rs15,459.17.
In the futures (DFC) market, turnover stood at 687.873 million shares with a traded value of Rs27.171 billion, compared with 526.472 million shares worth Rs21.617 billion in the previous session.
