ISLAMABAD, Jun 20 (APP): The 100-Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bullish trend on Friday gaining 20.65 points, a positive change of 0.02 percent, closing at 120,023.24 points as compared to 120,002.59 points on the last trading day.
A total of 421,643,224 shares were traded during the day as compared to 604,536,506 shares the previous trading day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs 15.651 billion against Rs 20.442 billion on the last trading day.
As many as 468 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 178 of them recorded gains and 245 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 45 companies remained unchanged.
The three top trading companies were WorldCall Telecom with 42,791,268 shares at Rs 1.45 per share, TRG Pakistan Limited with 26,664,589 shares at Rs 56.68 per share and Pervez Ahmed Co. 25,526,681 shares at Rs 2.84 per share.
Macter International Limited witnessed a maximum increase of Rs 56.63 per share closing at Rs621.82 whereas runner-up was Hoechst Pakistan Limited with Rs47.74 rise in its share price to close at Rs3,198.50.
PIA Holding Company LimitedB witnessed a maximum decrease of Rs 1,239.31 per share price, closing at Rs 11,153.83, whereas the runner-up Pakistan Services Limited with Rs 47.41 decline in its per share price to Rs 941.11.
