PM's speech a great step towards durable peace

LAHORE, Feb 27 (APP):Business community and its leaders on Wednesday said that Pakistan had always been advocating peace in the region and also making its best efforts in this regard.
Giving their viewpoint to APP here on the recent Prime Minister’s address to the nation, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran (APAT) and other business leaders said Pakistan did not want war but Indian incursion into our territory and war hysteria had left no option for Pakistan but to retaliate in defense of its borders.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has termed the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address a great step towards durable peace between the two countries.

LCCI President Almas Hyder said despite giving a strong reply, Prime Minister Imran Khan had once again invited Indian government to resolve the issues through talks. It was an ample proof that Pakistan wanted peace in this region.
He said that Indian government must aware of the fact that war
was not an option between nuclear-armed states and all issues should
be resolved through talks.
He said India should stop blaming Pakistan as Pakistan had given immense sacrifices for establishment of durable peace in the region.
He said Pakistan Armed Forces deserved appreciation for making Pakistan defense insurmountable and also hailed solidarity expressed by the government and all political parties.
APAT Central President Ashraf Bhatti also hailed the Prime Minister
for giving a balanced and sensible response to Indian aggression.
APAT Central President and office-bearers of various market unions
and trade bodies also paid tributes to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for
giving a befitting response to air space violation by India fighter jets.
The business leaders expressed the resolve that entire Pakistani
nation including business community was united and standing side by
side with Pakistan Army to defend every inch of the motherland.
