LAHORE, Jul 09 (APP):The 4th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for the fiscal year 2025–26 was held under the chairmanship of Planning & Development Board Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf here on Wednesday.
The forum approved one development scheme and cleared six position papers, with a cumulative estimated cost of Rs. 825.051 million.
Approved Development Schemes and Cleared Position Papers included:
1. Establishment of PMU (Annual Expenditure) – Revised Estimated Cost: Rs. 825.051 million
2. Establishment of Satellite Stations of Punjab Forensic Science Agency (PFSA) – Revised (Position paper for clearance of vehicles) Locations: Districts Mianwali, Toba Tek Singh, and Rahim Yar Khan
3. Construction of Office Complex for Directorate General, Punjab Probation and Parole Service, Lahore – Revised (Position paper for clearance of vehicles)
4. Parole and Probation Revamping Program – Sargodha – Revised (Position paper for clearance of vehicles)
5. Parole and Probation Revamping Program – Sahiwal – Revised (Position paper for clearance of vehicles)
6. Capacity Strengthening for Project Development and Management – Police Department, Lahore (Position paper for creation of posts)
7. Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority (Position paper regarding gestation period)
The meeting was attended by the Secretary P&D Board, Rafaqat Ali; Secretary Youth Affairs & Sports, Muzzafar Khan, CEO Urban Unit Omar Masud, Chief Economist Masood Anwar members of the P&D Board and other senior officers.
