LAHORE, Aug 20 (APP):The 21st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for current fiscal year Wednesday approved two development schemes and one concept paper in the SHC&ME, Governance & IT, and Agriculture sectors with a cumulative estimated cost of Rs. 1,300 million.
Chaired by Planning & Development Board Punjab’s Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf, the forum approved following schemes:
Purchase of two MRI machines for Allied Hospital-II and BBH Rawalpindi at an estimated cost of Rs. 900 million.
Establishment of e-Libraries for students and the general public at an estimated cost of Rs. 400 million.
Punjab Climate Resilient & Low Carbon Agriculture Mechanization Project (P-CLAMP) (Concept Paper Approved).
The meeting was attended by P&D Board Secretary Rafaqat Ali; Chief Economist Masood Anwar, the Board members and other senior officers.
