LAHORE, Dec 03 (APP): Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in its 50th meeting of current fiscal year, here Wednesday, approved seven development scheme of the various sectors with an accumulative estimated cost of Rs. 16.2 billion.
Planning and Development Board Punjab’s Chairman Dr. Naeem Rauf chaired the meeting that was also attended by the board Secretary Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, the board members and officers from relevant departments.
Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved the following schemes:
1- Provision of Weather Risk Reduction of Electrical Installation & Utilities in GOR-I, Lahore at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,660.983 million.
2- Chief Minister’s Youth Employability in BPOs at an estimated cost of Rs. 3,401.009 million.
3- Rehabilitation and Remodelling of Main Dam, Spillway, and Irrigation System of Domeli Dam, District Jehlum at an estimated cost of Rs. 1314.523 million.
4- Installation of 25 AQMS under the World Bank’s PCAP (Revised) at an estimated cost of Rs. 5,425.000 million.
5- Rehabilitation of Rawalpindi Murree Kashmir Road (17-Mile to Sunny Bank), Tehsil & District Murree (Revised) at an estimated cost of Rs. 2,800 million.
6- Restructuring of Directorate General of Monitoring & Evaluation (Revised) at an estimated cost of Rs. 1,419.190 million.
The PDWP also approved the Position Paper of the scheme titled as “Procurement of Light & Sound Show Equipment System (Position Paper for creation of posts and procurement. These projects are expected to contribute to the overall development and progress of Punjab.
