Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves stand $ 22.47billion

The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan stood at US$ 22,474.6 million as of July 31, 2026, while reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased to US$ 17,043 million. 

KARACHI, Aug 06 (APP): The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan stood at US$ 22,474.6 million as of July 31, 2026, while reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased to US$ 17,043 million.
“During the week ended on 31-Jul-2026, SBP’s FX reserves increased by US$ 13 million to US$ 17,043.0 million,” the central bank reported on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
Meanwhile, the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks also increased by $ 19.4 million to $ 5,431.6 million, the break up of forex reserves for the period under review showed.
Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves in the previous week ended on July 24, 2026 stood $ 22,442.1 million. Among them the State Bank of Pakistan held foreign exchange reserves of $ 17,029.9 million while the other $ 5,412.2 million were held by the commercial banks.
