KARACHI, Nov 20 (APP):The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan inched up to US$ 19,738.2 million as of 14 November while the reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan increased to $ 14.55 billion.
“During the week ended on 14-Nov-2025, SBP’s FX reserves increased by US$ 27 million to US$ 14,551.5 million,” the central bank reported on Thursday in its weekly statement on the position of liquid foreign reserves.
However, the net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks decreased by $ 12.6 million to $ 5,186.7 million, as depicted by the reserves break up for the period under review.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country in the previous week ended on November 7, 2025 were $ 19,723.9 million. Among them the central bank held foreign reserves of $ 14,524.6 million while the commercial banks held $ 5,199.3 million.
