NPO to hold workshop on project risk management from April 9

ISLAMABAD, Apr 1 (APP):National Productivity Organization (NPO) is going to organize a comprehensive workshop on “Project Risk Management” from April 9 (Thursday), aimed at strengthening professional capacity to identify, analyze and mitigating project risks.
The course is designed to equip participants with practical skills to effectively plan and manage project risks by applying key concepts and modern tools, enabling improved decision-making and higher chances of project success, said NPO document shared here on Wednesday.
The webinar will comprise five modules, offering a complete understanding of risk management in projects. It will begins with foundational concepts such as risk identification, risk categories, and the project risk management lifecycle, followed by strategic planning elements including assessment of project environments, defining risk thresholds, and communicating risks with stakeholders.
Participants will be trained in key areas including risk identification, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk response planning and risk monitoring techniques, helping them address uncertainties efficiently.
The programme will also cover internationally recognized standards including ISO 31000, ensuring alignment with global best practices.
The initiative aims to equip professionals from IT, construction and healthcare sectors with modern risk management skills, enabling them to proactively address uncertainties and improve project outcomes.
Upon successful completion of course, participants will be awarded e-certificates, it added.
