FAISALABAD, Nov 12 (APP):Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has allocated newly purchased Shahzor Standard Cabin pickups and distributed them among various subdivisions across its operational region to enhance field performance in addition to expediting complaint resolution and ensuring efficient service delivery to the consumers.
FESCO Chief Executive Engineer Muhammad Aamir said here on Wednesday that the company is fully committed to utilize all available resources to provide reliable, timely and high-quality services to its consumers.
He said that the addition of new vehicles would play a key role in improving operational efficiency, facilitating faster transportation of materials and enabling field teams to promptly address public complaints. “This investment reflects FESCO’s determination to modernize its infrastructure and deliver superior service standards to the growing consumer base”, he added.
He said that under the approved plan, 26 new vehicles have been distributed among FESCO’s field offices and subdivisions to strengthen on-ground operations. This initiative would not only speed up field activities but also ensure smoother coordination among technical teams working to maintain uninterrupted power supply across the region, he added.
Deputy Director Transport Engineer Ali Waqar Warraich said that the induction of these new vehicles would enhance field staff productivity while significantly reducing operational expenses, including fuel consumption and maintenance costs. He said that the use of modern, fuel-efficient vehicles would bring long-term economic benefits to the company and support its sustainability objectives. He said that following the formal approval by Chief Executive Engineer Muhammad Aamir, the official notification for the vehicle allotment had been issued.
The subdivisions receiving the new vehicles included Chiniot Subdivision No.1 and 2, Civil Lines Division, Factory Area Subdivision, Bakar Mandi Subdivision, Gojra Road Subdivision, Allama Iqbal Subdivision Faisalabad, Rural Subdivision Samundri, Shorkot City Subdivision, Bhera Division, Urban Subdivision Joharabad, Kot Fareed Subdivision Sargodha, Satellite Town Subdivision Sargodha, City Subdivision Toba Tek Singh, Kalabagh Subdivision, Urban Subdivision Mianwali, Construction Subdivision Chiniot, Construction Subdivision 18-Hazari, Construction Subdivision Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal Subdivision, City Subdivision Samundri, Sadar Subdivision Jhang, Quaidabad Subdivision, Construction Subdivision Khushab and Gattwala Subdivision Faisalabad, he added.
