ISLAMABAD, May 22 (APP):The sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in the country has witnessed an increase of 31.91 per cent during the first ten months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to sales of the corresponding months of the last year.
During July-April (2025-26), as many as 1,619,841 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold against the sale of 1,227,956 units in July-April (2024-25), according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The sale of Honda motorcycles surged by 34.30 per cent from 1,032,989 units to 1,387,308 units, whereas the sale of Suzuki motorcycles also rose by 43.27 per cent from 20,557 units to 29,453 units during the period under review.
The sales of United Auto motorcycles witnessed an increase of 32.21 per cent from 118,885 units to 157,184 units, while the sales of Yamaha motorbikes came down to 1,333 units from 4,558 units, witnessing a decrease of 70.75 per cent.
Meanwhile, the sale of United Auto three-wheelers increased from 924 units to 1,182 units during the period under review, while the sale of Qingqi three-wheelers also increased by 2.21 percent from 8,666 units to 8,858 units.
Similarly, Sazgar three-wheelers sales rose by 2.12 per cent to 21,942 units from 21,486 units last year.
