ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (APP):The sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in the country has witnessed an increase of 31.88 per cent during the first five months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to sales of the corresponding months of the last year.
During the months under review, as many as 762,778 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold against the sale of 578,364 units in July-November (2024-25), according to the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA).
The sale of Honda motorcycles surged by 32.97 per cent from 486,758 units to 647,271 units, whereas the sale of Suzuki motorcycles also rose by 47.39 per cent from 9,692 units to 14,286 units during the months under review.
The sales of United Auto motorcycles witnessed an increase of 29.99 per cent from 56,379 units to 73,291 units, while the sales of Road Prince motorbikes also surged to 11,641 units from 8,434 units.
The sale of Yamaha motorbikes came down to 1,223 units from 2,141 units, witnessing a decrease of 42.87 per cent.
Meanwhile, the sale of United Auto three-wheelers increased from 322 units to 643 units, while the sale of Qingqi three-wheelers also increased by 4.04 percent from 4,178 units to 4,347 units.
The sale of Sazgar three-wheelers decreased by 3.80 per cent from 9,812 units to 9,439 units, whereas the sale of Road Prince also decreased to 611 units from 645 units, the data revealed.
