ISLAMABAD, Aug 15 (APP):The sale of motorbikes and three-wheelers in the country increased by 38.44 per cent during July 2026, the first month of the current financial year (2026-27), compared with the corresponding month of the previous financial year.
According to data released by the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), a total of 172,416 motorbikes and three-wheelers were sold in July 2026 against 124,538 units sold in July 2025, showing an increase of 47,878 units.
The data showed that sales of Honda motorcycles recorded a significant increase of 43.49 per cent, rising from 104,579 units in July 2025 to 150,063 units in July 2026.
Similarly, sales of Suzuki motorcycles increased to 3,259 units during the month under review from 2,518 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, registering a notable rise.
Sales of United motorbikes also witnessed an upward trend, increasing by 30.05 per cent to 16,393 units in July 2026 from 12,605 units in July 2025.
Meanwhile, the three-wheeler segment also posted growth during the month. Sales of United Auto three-wheelers increased to 139 units in July 2026 from 108 units in July 2025.
Sazgar three-wheeler sales registered a substantial increase of 81.06 per cent, rising from 1,415 units in July 2025 to 2,562 units in July 2026, according to the PAMA data.
