ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): The government on Sunday revised petroleum prices by giving a massive relief to the common man as it reduced the per liter price of Motor Spirit Oil (MSO – petrol) by Rs 40 and high speed diesel (HSD) Rs15.
“Owing to the decreasing trend of the petroleum prices in international market and due to the appreciation of the rupee against the US$, the government has decided to reduce the existing consumer prices of petroleum products in the country,” said a Finance Division notification.
As per the notification, the government reduced petrol price by Rs 40 per liter and HSD Rs 15 which would be applicable from October 16, 2023 and remain enforced for the next fortnight.
Following the price revision, petrol would available at Rs283.38 per liter and HSD Rs 303.18.
