KARACHI, Dec 08 (APP):Businessmen Group (BMG) and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)- the leading representative bodies of the traders community- extending felicitations to Field Marshal Asim Munir on his historic appointment as Pakistan’s first Chief of Defense Forces (CDF), on Monday reaffirmed their full support for sovereignty, economic progress, prosperity, and long-term national stability of the country.
Chairman BMG, Zubair Motiwala and President KCCI, Rehan Hanif, in a joint statement issued here, observed that the landmark development, creating a unified command structure for all branches of the Armed Forces, reflected a forward-looking national vision aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s security framework, enhancing strategic cohesion, and improving operational readiness in an increasingly complex global and regional environment.
Highlighting Field Marshal Asim Munir’s distinguished career, deep understanding of the country’s defense needs and the achievements made under his leadership, they expressed hope that his tenure as CDF would usher in a new era of unity, strengthened defense, and national advancement.
