FAISALABAD, Sep 26 (APP): Kanwal Saeed of Ibrahim Technical Training Institute was elected as president of Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) unopposed for 2026-28 tenure.
According to FWCCI spokesperson, Kanwal Saeed, Samia Tahir of Mubashir Weaving Factory and Dr Sania Arshad of Sahil Limited had filed their nomination papers for the seats of FWCCI President, Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively for 2026-28.
According to the election schedule and rules, September 24, 2026 was the last date for submission of nominations for top slots of FWCCI.
The nomination papers of all three candidates were scrutinized and declared valid by the FWCCI election authorities. As no other nominations were received for any of the top three positions, therefore these candidates were provisionally and unofficially declared elected unopposed.
However, final and formal announcement of their unopposed election would be made on September 29, 2026 during FWCCI Annual General Meeting, the spokesperson added.
