ISLAMABAD, Jan 18 (APP):Jazz, a leading digital operator of the country, in collaboration with the Pathfinder Group, hosted the “Digital Pakistan Breakfast”.
The event was organised on the sidelines of World Economic Forum Annual Meeting taking place in Davos.
A press release received here on Monday said the event highlighted Pakistan’s journey of digital transformation, underscoring its potential and resilience in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Addressing the event Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz and Chairman of Mobilink Microfinance Bank identified the challenges faced by the country and emphasized the critical role of technology in addressing them.
As Pakistan’s leading digital operator, we are fully committed to leveraging technology to empower our citizens, he added.
In line with this year’s World Economic Forum theme ‘Rebuilding Trust,’ by adopting a strategic 3T Approach–Technology, Trust and Transparency, we can advance the digital agenda of Pakistan, he said adding that the 3T approach can be crucial for charting a path towards an inclusive and equitable Pakistan, he remarked
He also highlighted the impact of JazzCash in the fintech sector.
Aamir Ibrahim said that serving approximately 45 million Pakistanis, of whom 30% are women, JazzCash is at the forefront of financial empowerment in Pakistan.
By embracing the 3Ts, we aim to create a Pakistan where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive, bridging inclusion gaps and fostering a tech-driven knowledge economy, he added.
