Jam Kamal concludes 4 days Bangladesh visit

ISLAMABAD, Aug 25 (APP):Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has concluded his four-day visit to Bangladesh, where he had interaction with government officials and the business community with the objective of promoting economic relations between the two countries.
According to a press release issued by the Commerce Ministry here Monday, during the visit, the minister met Adviser for Industries, Adviser for Food and Adviser for Commerce, visited Chambers of Commerce and Industries and interacted with business leaders from wide-ranging sectors.
The Minister also visited a ship-breaking facility and a pharmaceutical plant and discussed sectoral possibilities of collaborations.
His interactions with Bangladeshi economic and commercial officials included meetings with Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority and Government officials from National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh Bank, Trading Corporation of Bangladesh, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Trade and Tariff Commission.
The visit culminated in the signing of an MoU for the establishment of a Joint Working Group on Trade. The MoU will link the commerce officials of both countries, who in turn will synchronise their measures to enhance bilateral trade and investment, the statement added.
