Gold-Trade Gold prices fall by Rs4,000 per tola

The prices of gold witnessed a sharp decline in the local market on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs4,000 to settle at Rs449,336, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

ISLAMABAD, Sep 15 (APP):The prices of gold witnessed a sharp decline in the local market on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs4,000 to settle at Rs449,336, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,429 to Rs385,233, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs3,143 to Rs353,143.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $40 to $4,268 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs6,802, while the price of 10 grams of silver also saw no change and settled at Rs5,831.
The price of silver in the international market traded flat at $63.23 per ounce, the association added.
