Gold prices witness sharp decline of Rs 12,627 per tola

ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):The prices of gold registered a significant decline in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 12,627 to settle at Rs 442,436 compared to Rs 455,063 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 11,364 to Rs 378,170 from Rs 389,534, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 10,277 to Rs 346,948 against Rs 357,225.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $126.270 to $4,200 per ounce from $4,326.270.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs 385 to Rs 6,929 from Rs 7,314, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs 352 to Rs 5,893 from Rs 6,245.
The price of silver in the international market also decreased by $3.852 to $64.500 per ounce from $68.352.
