The prices of gold witnessed a sharp increase in the local market on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola surging by Rs12,200 to settle at Rs 440,936, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices up by Rs12,200 per tola
ISLAMABAD, Jul 3 (APP): The prices of gold witnessed a sharp increase in the local market on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola surging by Rs12,200 to settle at Rs 440,936, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs10,459 to Rs378,031, while the price of 10 grams of
22-karat gold climbed by Rs 9,588 to Rs 346,541.
In the international market, the price of gold gained $122 to reach $ 4,185 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 319 to Rs 6,764, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by
Rs 274 to Rs 5,799.
The price of silver in the international market also advanced by $ 3.19 to $ 62.85 per ounce, the association reported.
