ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP):The prices of gold registered a significant increase in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 4,370 to settle at Rs 444,336 compared to Rs 439,966 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,933 to Rs 379,880 from Rs 375,947 whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 3,570 to Rs 348,493 against Rs 344,923.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $43.70 to $4,219 per ounce from $4,175.30.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola rose by Rs 200 to Rs 7,279 from Rs 7,079, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 171 to Rs 6,199 from Rs 6,028.
The price of silver in the international market also increased by $2 to $68.00 per ounce from $66.00.
