Gold prices witnessed an upward trend in the local market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs800 to settle at Rs457,336, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices surge by Rs800 per tola

ISLAMABAD, Aug 10 (APP):Gold prices witnessed an upward trend in the local market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs800 to settle at Rs457,336, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs685 to reach Rs392,091, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs628 to Rs359,429.
In the international market, the price of gold climbed by $8 to $4,349 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded an upward trend in the local market. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs77 to Rs6,903, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs66 to Rs5,918.
The price of silver in the international market also increased by $0.77 to $64.24 per ounce, the association added.
