ISLAMABAD, Jan 6 (APP):Gold prices increased in the local market on Tuesday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola went up by Rs 3,200 to settle at Rs 467,962, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 2,743 to Rs 401,201, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs 2,514 to Rs 367,780, whereas silver prices also registered an increase, with 24-karat silver per tola gaining Rs 338 to stand at Rs 8,361 and 10 grams of silver rising by Rs 290 to Rs 7,168.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $32 to $4,456 per ounce, while silver went up by $3.38 to $78.86 per ounce, the association reported.
