ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Gold prices in Pakistan climbed on Saturday, as the per tola price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 1,800, closing at Rs 433,662 compared to Rs 431,862 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 1,543, closing at Rs 371,795, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold were traded at Rs 340,824 after gaining Rs 1,414 day-on-day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
International gold prices also edged upward, reaching $4,113 per ounce, reflecting an increase of $18.
Silver rates followed the upward trend. The per tola silver price gained Rs 57 to close at Rs 5,124, whereas the 10 grams silver rate stood at Rs 4,393 after a rise of Rs 49.
Globally, international silver was recorded at $48.62 per ounce, showing a minor increase of $0.3.
The domestic precious metals rates were based on the interbank exchange rates, with purity calculated at 999/24K, the association added.
