ISLAMABAD, Feb 9 (APP):Gold prices witnessed an increase in the local market on Monday, as the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs5,300 to settle at Rs524,762, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,544 to Rs449,898, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs4,165 to Rs412,421.
The price of silver also recorded an upward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola increasing by Rs346 to Rs8,615, whereas the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs296 to Rs7,385.
Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold increased by $53 to $5,020 per ounce, while silver rose by $3.46 to $81.40 per ounce.
