The prices of gold witnessed an increase in the local market on Monday, with 24-karat gold per tola gaining Rs300 to settle at Rs424,536, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices rise by Rs300 per tola
ISLAMABAD, Jul 20 (APP): The prices of gold witnessed an increase in the local market on Monday, with 24-karat gold per tola gaining Rs300 to settle at Rs424,536, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs258 to Rs363,971, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs237 to Rs333,652.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $3 to $4,021 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs107 to Rs6,177, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs91 to Rs5,295.
The price of silver in the international market also increased by $1.07 to $56.98 per ounce, the association reported.
