Gold prices witnessed an increase in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs427,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold prices rise by Rs1,000 per tola

ISLAMABAD, Jul 30 (APP):Gold prices witnessed an increase in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs1,000 to settle at Rs427,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs857 to Rs366,457, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold gained Rs786 to reach Rs335,931.
In the international market, the price of gold edged up by $10 to $4,050 per ounce, the association reported.
Meanwhile, silver prices declined in the local market. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs76 to Rs6,215, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs65 to Rs5,328.
The price of silver in the international market also dropped by $0.76 to $57.36 per ounce, the association added.
