ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 (APP):Gold prices in the country increased by Rs6,900 per tola on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold reaching Rs460,336 against Rs453,436 recorded on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams increased by Rs5,914 to Rs394,663 from Rs388,749, while that of 22-karat gold rose by Rs5,423 to Rs361,787 from Rs356,364.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $69 to $4,378 per ounce from $4,309.
Meanwhile, silver prices also witnessed an upward trend, with 24-karat silver per tola rising by Rs300 to Rs7,169 from Rs6,869.
The price of 24-karat silver per 10 grams increased by Rs257 to Rs6,146 from Rs5,889, while international silver prices rose by $3 to $66.91 per ounce from $63.91.
