The prices of gold registered an increase in the local market on Thursday, with 24 karat gold per tola gaining Rs 1,523 to settle at Rs 469,285 compared to Rs 467,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 4 (APP):The prices of gold registered an increase in the local market on Thursday, with 24 karat gold per tola gaining Rs 1,523 to settle at Rs 469,285 compared to Rs 467,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1,305 to Rs 402,335 from Rs 401,030, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose by Rs 1,197 to Rs 368,821 against Rs 367,624.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $14.499 to $4,468.499 per ounce from $4,454 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs 97 to Rs 7,797, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs 83 to Rs 6,684.
The price of silver in the international market decreased by $0.911 to $73.189 per ounce, the association reported.
